Roses grown at the foot of the mountain

Australian-bred and heritage roses for South Coast gardens - many propagated on our own patch at the foot of Cambewarra Mountain, all chosen because they earn their place.

Our Story

A small rose grower on the NSW South Coast

Cambewarra Roses is a small rose-growing operation at the foot of Cambewarra Mountain. We propagate many of our roses ourselves - both budded and grown on their own roots - with a focus on Australian-bred varieties and the old heritage roses that deserve to stay in our gardens: Alister Clark's roses, the Teas and Noisettes, and the classics everyone remembers from their grandmother's garden.

Old favourites you won't find on the big wholesale lists.

Because we grow and choose our own stock, you'll find roses here that are hard to buy anywhere else - old favourites like Mutabilis that are almost impossible to track down but easy to love once you've seen a mature one. Every plant is selected for South Coast conditions.

Three of our roses - Daydream, Squatter's Dream and Beyond Blue - are now growing in the Renwick Australian Bred Community Rose Garden at Mittagong.
